CHICKEN AND SAUSAGE POT PIE
          
Ingredients

  • ½ lb. bulk Swaggerty’s Farm Sausage
  • 3 ½ cups cooked chicken diced
  • 1 can Veg-all drained
  • 2 pie crust
     

White Sauce
 
  • ¼ cup butter
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 2 ¾ cups chicken broth and 2 dissolved bouillon cubes
  • ½ Teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
 
 
Directions
 
  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Place 1 pie crust in pie pan.
  • In a large deep skillet, brown Swaggerty’s sausage over medium heat until golden brown breaking into large chunks as it cooks. Remove from pan to drain on paper towels.
  • In same pan cook chicken chunks until browned and done. Place with browned sausage.
  • Melt butter in pan and slowly stir in flour.
  • Pour in broth and stir until smooth.
  • Mix sauce with chicken and sausage mixture.
  • Pour mixture in prepared pie crust
  • Cover with second crust and cut slits in top to allow steam to escape.
  • Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
