EASY BLACKENED WALLEYE FILLETS

  • 4 walleye fillets
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp pepper
  • Freshly squeezed lemon juice

  • Set the EGG for direct cooking without the convEGGtor at 400°F/204°C.

  • In a plastic bag add the melted butter, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper. Massage to mix the ingredients. Add the fish and allow to marinate while you warm the EGG.

  • Add the walleye to a Cast Iron Grid and cook about 4 minutes per side. Serve with fresh squeezed lemon juice.
