• 3 cloves of garlic minced
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 pound Swaggerty’s Farm sausage
  • 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 ounces broccoli chopped into bite size pieces
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • ½ cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Sauté garlic and onion in a skillet over medium high, heat in butter.
  • Brown beef and sausage; drain some of the excess fat.
  • Season beef and sausage with Italian seasoning and salt and pepper.
  • While beef is browning, steam broccoli, not too long as it will cook in the oven.
  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Put cream cheese in a bowl and microwave for 1 minute. Whisk in the heavy cream a little at the time and then stir in the parmesan cheese.
  • Assemble the casserole: Put the beef mixture on the bottom and then stir in the broccoli. Pour the cream cheese, (Alfredo sauce) over the mixture evenly. Top with the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake for 35 minutes or until the cheese is crispy on top.
